Learning-focused

Statistics affirm that a high school diploma is no longer sufficient to earn a living family wage. In order to succeed in the workplace or in institutions of higher learning, high school students must be literate and mathematically competent, adept problem-solvers, and effective written and oral communicators. Our society and economy can no longer afford high schools that promote students to a higher level merely for showing up. Rather, our schools must commit to a challenging, engaging curriculum for all learners.
